I’m Zach, your friendly local guide here in Malaysia. Since 2007, I’ve been showing folks like you around my beautiful home – Kuala Lumpur and all the amazing spots across Peninsular Malaysia. I’m not gonna pretend to know everything (though I’ve picked up a thing or two!), but I’m truly passionate about sharing what makes this place so special. My goal is simple: to make sure you experience the real Malaysia, even if you’re only here for a short time. Some people might find the drive long, but it is definitely worth it, and Zach can always explain something to you along the way. Our guide, Zach, was friendly and knowledgeable and was happy to answer our questions - ranging from historical ones to questions about the native trees. All places visited were impressive and I feel it would be rather difficult for a tourist to get to these places. Everything was well thought of, from time to spend in each place, to the food, the route, etc. Batu caves are certainly a must when visiting Kuala Lumpur, and watching the fireflies was magical (though be aware of the mosquitoes). The food was really nice (we stopped at a local restaurant) and the view of the sunset made everything look even better. Make sure you try the fresh coconut water. Seeing the monkeys was a nice addition, and we were glad Zach had some peanuts in his pocket for us to feed the monkeys! We are also glad he took some really nice pictures of us! I highly recommend his as a tour guide, especially if you don't have many days here and want to do as much as possible. Zach is a guide, just as a guide should be: well informed, pleasant presence, a very good driver and someone who really cares about his clientele. A big bonus are the beautiful photos that Zach took of us along the way. Definitely 5 stars for Zach!
